No contact will work every

No contact will work every time. But if you are like most of us at the beginning of the end, you are not emotionally ready to have him disappear. We start out totally enmeshed and stuck in the middle of the dynamic cyclical obsession. If you are like I was you can't go too long without thoughts of him, what he's doing, what he's thinking etc dwelling in your head, making you feel crazy and completely out of control. Truly stuck and nuts. A sure sign you have been narced. No contact starts the healing...out of contact then the thinking slowly has a chance to get normalized and sanity has a chance to re-enter you consciousness. A process to walk through. You will have to learn alot as you go. Be kind to yourself. You will see that the kindest gift you can give yourself is to abandon the idea that you and he should be together. It will be a big day when you really know that it won't work. It will probably take some time. Stay here as much as you can and learn what we have learned, and keep learning everyday. Simple ideas that seem almost impossible to accomplish. 1. You don't have to answer an incoming call! 2. You don't have to listen to a voice mail, they can be erased unheard 3. A text can be erased without reading it 4. The universe wouldn't collapse if you never talked to him again. Get the picture. These ideas don't usually get assimilated into the psyche over a period of 10 hours or 10 days. The process isn't quick or easy, but staying with him will get worse, and then at some point in the future you will have to start this new journey. Common sense dictates that the sooner you start, the sooner the relief, peace, serenity, and freedom from the overwhelming obsession will come. We care here, and want nothing for you but health...and only ask that if possible you pass on your experience to the next fellow sufferer that comes our way. ds

DS

DS thanks for point4. Sometimes I dwell too much on the exN and felt the loss like its sooo big. With point 4 I think my relationahip with exN is so insignificant, world is so big! Even compared to my life 3yrs with exN is just a bad episode. There will be better things waiting for me later in my life.
