i agree, don't send it. i tried letters, lunch, walks and nothing ever ended. it just kept things going, hanging on, he never wanted to break up and always wanted to keep me around, main girlfriend and then most recently 2nd in line which I refuse to be. i ended things 2 wks ago and d&d'd him as fast as can be...after he took me away and on a huge shopping spree (i didn't ask for it and put on a good show) figured I would take what I could get before I dumped him once and for all. No contact no closure at all, he had been groveling with apologies the last 4 phone calls/msgs and I never responded and blocked him for good. I hope he is wondering what the tell happened but I'm sure he isnt thinking of me at all. dont send the letter it will only cause more anguish on your part and most likely will never be closure, he will never be able to understand what he did or how he made you feel and will only keep communication doors open. good luck, you will do the right thing...
