Hunter needs Support

Hi Guys,

I don't need narc support, I need diet support , since the narc experience Hunter has grown a fat ass!

The drama is over for me but shedding narc pounds is not easy! So tomorrow I begin , you guys are the best. I need to be accountable for my actions so I'm looking to you to kick my ass when I shove an ice cream sandwich in my mouth, good luck to me, I would like to fit into my cloths again.

Eat today? wieght watchers is great ok so Breakfast for me was fine lunch, after my delicious poched eggs and sliced cucumbers I accidentally ate 2 bites of my piano players half huge slice of carrot cake (it grew wings and flew into my mouth..LOL) then realized it...threw it away back on track, all is well dinner will be salmon & salad yes Im rockin and rollin.. how you eating today? be blessed K

Hi Hunter congrats on day 1!!!! yea!!! screw pizza nothing in this world tastes as good as thin feels NOTHING carb cravings go away in 3 or 4 days..gone cant wait to wear my 4 closets of size 4 clothes,again post narc Ive been a 6...not OK..its gotta go.. so I hear ya Me: been maintaining a 100 pound wieght loss for 13 years post narc I saw 10 pounds come creeping back and 10 pounds = a size up, all of a sudden I couldnt stop with the carbs (thats why they call it comfort food its chemical..a seretonin bath to the brain) so I got right back on it... I just will not tolerate not being able to get my favorite skirt /jeans/ "show clothes" on so, I started with you today now you have a wieght loss bud if you want one Hunter what did you eat today? ya know what I did was go back to what worked for me in the past I cut out everything that is white white bread white rice white potatoes and after 30 days I re-introduced brown rice brown bread etc and I dance to Motown for 20 minutes every AM till I work up a sweat so lots of protien nothing proccesed...if it didnt have a face or come from the ground or a tree..I dont eat it...LOL and a carb once a day.. cold water and got my thyroid checked Hunter, my dear what did you eat today? would you like to post it? here is me: AM hate breakfast...had coffee (SOMETIMES 2EGGs) lunch: turkey curry salad, w dressing I make myself (sesame oil, vinager,garlic) & take in a little tupperware thingy (way too much sugar in restaraunt salad dressing) Dinner: Salmon, salad, summer squash w/butter bud's snack later: too bad...go to sleep hungry thats when I know my body is losing wieght thats what works 4 me when you lost your 50 pounds what worked for you? be blessed K

I'm sure you are beautiful so

I'm sure you are beautiful so it really doesn't matter but I know how you feel. I gained 10 pounds after it was all said and done. Luckily it's starting to come off. Train for a marathon. If you think it's too much then start with a half marathon. It's actually a lot of fun.

you with the dieting advice although I did weight watchers once and ate a lot of smoked salmon and it seemed to work... The I left the narc and I no longer need to be on a diet.... But here is a huge hug instead !!!!! D x x x x

are you still on

anti-depressants? Many of them can cause weight gain. Maybe you could switch to one that does not have this side effect? One easy way to get your metabolism's attention is to do aerobics twice a day even if its just 15 min each time. You can walk or just march when you are watching TV at night after dinner. Try going to bed a tiny bit hungry (exercise after dinner - before it lands lol) Try to move around at least 5-6 days a week, even if moderate exercise... Best of luck!

alrighty then! From here on in you must post your daily dietary consumptions lol Seriosulsy though.....you got rid of the REALLY unhealthy "fat" already....the NARC! If you can do that then the rest of the unhealthy weight is just "baby fat" lol We will help you shed it quickly! Have you tried the "skinny cow" brand of ice cream products? They actually are pretty damn good and satisfying and low in cals/fat. You will shed this unwanted weight......from what I see here, you are a determined kinda gal:) xoxo

maca root it works for me, it's cheap (60 pills costs me $8 and that's two months worth) keep carbs around 100 grams a day yoga 2x a week cardio 2x a week walk dog every day I've lost 30 lbs since October lost 10 more during my relationship with N, have gained 5 back since moving back home

low carb works!

adkins/low carb works great. it takes a couple days to get used to but it definately works and works quickly. i did it last year and also made it a goal to run a marathon...it felt great to cross that finish line. good luck!

Hunter, I logged on because you've been so nice in helping me; but no one but you seems to think you need to lose weight. Hmmm...What about this, Hunter? Does your dr think you need to? If dr says it's ok, the one thing that worked for me (despite the fact that I can go for days without eating when I'm really depressed) is having someone who can actually weigh me and see me to keep me accountable, then I'm too embarrassed to cheat. But...does Hunter need to lose weight?

I lost 50 pounds and kept if off for 2 yrs. I've gained about 15 back I'm a size 4 no I guess I don't need to but I like the body I had before better. My new wardrobe no longer fits. I am a stress eater. In order to get back on track I need to be accountable for what's going in my mouth! Thanks 7y Hunter

But that did not shed any calories... A friend of mine swears by the Atkins diet...I thought of trying it...I lost a lot of weight while suffering, but as my mind came back, so did the appetite, I fear my misery is keeping you company...LOL Not too well versed on the Atkins diet, but I hear you can lose about ten pounds in two weeks. The other thing I suppose is portion control, lots of water, veggies and such and little by little the hiney will shrink without too much effort...sometimes diets are a bit strict but if you try to be more aware of what is going into the mouth maybe it will help some... I find when I'm not busy...straight to the fridge I go...try to have a lot of salad on hand, and just change what you eat...try to go for lower calories and such... Good luck hun...I was just saying to myself, I need to get on track cause I see the pounds creeping up now that I'm "happy" again. Hugs!

Exercise is the best diet! I lost so much weight when I was with my exN from stress, now I've gained it back (and probably more), but I don't care... I know I need to exercise more though. From what everyone is posting, I think you are likely being too hard on yourself Hunter (as most of us are post narc) - lol! xo

I was very structured before I reconnected with Asshaft. Im not fat now bit i was very thin and I liked it. Everything I put on looked great. I think thru depression and recovery food has been comfort. Its time to take control of my eating and drinking habits going forward. This Narc stuff is not fun. But Im passed most of it. Now Im back on track to me diet and exercise. Be careful guys my guess is the sets can go either way. The way I felt and what he has done taking off 10 pounds should be easy. I feel like of i'm accountably to all of you I can stay focused. I don't want to let myself down or anyone else. You guys are the best. Hunter

From the posts on here - you don't need to diet !! But can recommend the gym - I run, cycle and go to gym to keep dark thought away (although running and cycling was stuff used to with the Narc, so just had to get over myself and get on with it on my own). Anyway, you rock - and so do Ben and Jerry :o) x

Okay, okay, since you need support, you'll get it... think of the weight as your old/past life- life with the narc- which was a crappy life AND the diet is your new life- the new sexy you! So get your sexy on! Hit the gym, watch what you eat- NO carbs at night. =) YOU CAN DO IT!!!
