Can I venture a guess and be confident that the N won't return?
I'd like to base my confidence on the fact that I know he's a passive coward who hides from confrontation and negative criticism and has a habit of hiding. But so far everything I've read points to the fact that they all do eventually make a guest appearance at some point.
I've read that once they know we can see through them, they discard us as possible NS, which is true in my case. So I'm a bit confused. I'd not like to have to spend each day worrying that he will appear and be constantly on guard, I would like to just let him go and forget about him completely–but that way, am I opening myself up for a nasty surprise?
