Is there a time frame when a new N relationship occurs before the love bombing fades for her? My XN has had yet another relationship with a new victim, this one being different as she has now moved in with him already, only been dating since end of january, she has uprooted her daughter & left family & friends behind to live with this perfect man. (I was married to him & together for 19 years of torment & tears but not realizing he was a narc!). My XN has told her everything I was told in the love bombing stage & is supposedly the happiest he has ever been in his life. (this hurts so much but now I am aware of his traits I understand more & can adjust my thinking), they constantly caress one another openly in public & I see a fake man putting on a show parading her around. She looks at me with a smug look, I never respond, I have been nothing but nice as my X & I have children together so I hold my head high & have never put him down to my boys. I am envious of the man she has right now, however I feel very afraid that she too will be yet another victim in time & may just one day come to my door for answers & I will welcome her in. As I ask....generally how long is it before a N shows their true colours to the new woman. Or has he actually or can he change his ways for her?
Any advise will b good to know, it's been since Jan we divorced & have had NC as I had the strength to fight the urge after 5 times of going back after 3 years of separation & constant humiliation.
