WHY is is so difficult to find a good single man these days???

I have been our over 3 years now and so ready to move on..but it is so darn difficult to meet any good single men in my age bracket, 50-60's ish, WHY? in the old days you just met for blind dates or responded to ads in the papers,nowadays all there is are dating websites and I have never seen so many 'broken' men on there, yet i work retail and cannot meet anyone.I know the old adage don't look and they appear when you least expect, Well, that has not happen either when I give up looking.GRRR... anyone else feel the way I do ?I also do things i enjoy as well.........thanks for letting me vent here
