Why the GAME again??

So I'm still in 'recovery' and it is hard maintaining NC.

As you know, narc has relocated 50 miles away 3 weeks ago to live with OW and her kids. He said his 'goodbyes' and told me that he knows our daughter will turn out great and that he hopes I get everything I want out of life, giving me the impression that was IT...........

I last heard from Narc at 5 am 2 weeks ago - asking me about 'our' daughter, I didn't respond. I have had 12 days NC.

BUT today, at 6.30 am, I get a text saying:
SO HOW IS YOUR GREAT LIFE WITH MR BEST EVER LAYLA NEW DADDY

Yes, I know, the intelligence of the script eh??
I struggled to make sense of it too. My reply = NOTHING.

I am sat here at work, trying to keep busy today. I am not a great romantic and Narc and I never did anything mega special on Valentines Day, but I sat reeling in his cheek. I mean, where is OW when he is sneakily texting me?? Who does he think he is? Why does he even want to know? I know its bait to get me to respond and believe me, there are 101 questions and crap that I could throw back at him, but silence is my best tool and I don't want to break it.

But does this say that really, his 'gret' new life isn't that great to even think of me today, or is it that he just wants power in being sneaky behind her back and also to control me.

I am muddling on and rabbling, but my question ladies ie, WHY?? he didn't want me and our daughter, he treated me shockingly before during and after the birth of her, for the last 20 months he hasn't done anything for her or helped me or anything.........what does he really want any contact with me for?? His life is so great, she is so rich etc, he MOVED AWAY.......grrrrr!! I am just so angry....
