What to do when he approaches you again?

I have been giving the silence treatment since the 21 of Nov. I had this suddenly realization that I am in fact dealing with a Narc. Your thoughts and comments here have been amazing.
But, every year, around this time, he gets grampy and moody, then treats me more rubbish than normal, not talk, ignore me, leave me to deal with children completely own my own, then, suddenly he becomes nice again, and comes close to me, and asks me to talk, and make be believe all horrible things I have done and need to say sorry for. AND I NORMALLY DID SAY SORRY)! Because I was so eager to be in good terms with him, I would do anything.
But Now , things are different. But because I dont have an exit plan yet, i just have to cope with it once more.
The pattern is just repeating.
What shall i do if he asks me anything? If he wants to make up?
He will probably start saying : Lets talk , shall we?
How would you respond?
How would you deal with this situation?
I dont want to give him the idea that I am leaving or anything, but I am stuck in how to deal with it now. Shall i just pretend? (but this time knowing it is just the same pattern repeating)
