Unmasking a Narc - All It Takes is a Female Judge

I filed a legal action against my son's father for child support arrears and to modify the existing order. I was pro se and he hired an attorney (odd he had the money for that but not for his kid).

Anyway, I did a lot of research before I filed and had so much evidence against him it was ridiculous. Yesterday, the hearing was scheduled. He showed up with two lawyers, two. Against his ex girlfriend who was representing herself - LOL!

The lawyers came to me before the hearing wanting to strike a deal. I declined their offer and told them I'd prefer to litigate. The ex showed up acting all calm and assured.

Then we appeared before the judge. Every single defense they came up with, I refuted with hard evidence and solid logic. He got confrontational with the judge when she was questioning him - I could just hear his inner voice saying 'how dare she challenge and question me?'. That I think was the kiss of death.

Long story short, I got every dime he owes ordered, interest, delinquency penalties, an increase in child support, put him on the hook for my health insurance premiums for our son, 50% of the med expenses, summer camps, etc. He should be thankful he wasn't thrown in jail.

He was outside the courtroom, one leg half crossed over the other, foot shaking a mile miles a minute, clearly agitated and thoroughly enraged! I heard him yelling at his attorneys saying "what did I pay you for? That bitch got everything she wanted and now I owe you people thousands!". Well, it was for our child, not for me. And it was worth all the time and effort just to see him go from Mr. Fabulous to a fabulous train wreck within the span of an hour.

I wanted it to go to litigation, only because I knew it would cost him thousands more in attorney's fees. He was their advocating for himself - I was there advocating for our child and it cost me nothing more than my time. All the time I had to struggle while he was stiffing his kid and funding his own IRA; well, he should go bankrupt for that reason alone if for no other.

It's was a win for the good girls yesterday! This wouldn't necessarily be the case for everyone, but it was a great feeling getting justice for my child and watching him turn into the prick I've always known he is. Publicly.
