TOSS HIS STUFF!!!!

Hey everyone,just wanted to tell you all something that i heard....my sister's husband is a neurologist and they've done studies on getting over a spouse(i know wierd), anyway,they've found that if you have any article of clothing,pillow,etc,anything with his DNA on it,it takes twice as long to move on......something about the DNA sparks triggers in your brain that make you miss that person...sooooooooo,if you're still living with the person,almost impossible to get away,and if you have anything of his.....TOSSSS IT IN THE TRASH!!!!!!....hey girls,this is scientific..........SWEETSAMM

I love it and took great pleasure in chucking all his stuff out , not a single thing remains , i did it stage by stage as his things where dotted around , the best one was his hat i dumped it in a gas station bin and drove off ...xxx

Not hopeless at all if you have a child with them...but,when they return home,give them a bath and make sure you wash them with soap(i know it sounds silly,but i just talked to my brother in law last night and asked him that exact question),and take the clothes off and immediately wash them....i can smell my ex on my daughter and i have started immediately throwing her in the bath with lavender baby wash...and the clothes,yuck i hate his smell,go in the wash.....

LOL :) Round 1- everything got thrown in the shed. Needless to say he never picked them up. Round 2- I found the odd sock and t-shirt, but he learnt from round 1 so he never left any clothes here when he 'VISITED'. This might sound silly but when the child returns from a visit and even though the clothes have been washed by the Ns mother (of course) i re wash them. (without my child knowing!) Im sad i know :)

ok you guys this is gonna sound wierd,

But I kept a few of his things....little stuff he wouldn't miss...... and I had a little "burning ritual" out in the back yard. photos of him and us, his old gym membership card, a pair of shorts, etc. It made me feel more free of him. It was the closest thing I could come to destroying and eradicating him physically from my life, and it helped psychologically, too. Soon after, he started to look like shit, gained a ton of weight, looked real raggedy.... Hmmm. Dunno what that was about (LOL)

I have a bag of my xn's clothes I keep under the sink in my kitchen. I call upon it anytime I need to clean something up.For instance my poor cat wasn't feeling well the other night,thank God for the narcs favorite shirt. I had that mess cleaned up in no time. I know ,very immature of me, but for some strange reason it helps! :)

That's so funny, I made sure to clean house and remove every crumb he possibly could have left behind, but the narcs undershirts were in my hamper...i thought about using them for dustrags but somehow, I just thought to myself, 'THIS SHIT ISN'T EVEN GOOD ENOUGH TO DUST MY FUCKING FURNITURE I DON'T WANT HIM OR HIS SKIN FLAKES SPREAD AROUND MY TERRITORY!!!" And out rather uncerimoniously they went down the chute!...

He gave me a cuddly cheetah for our first anniversary. Errr well it was a leopard actually, but now knowing who and what he is a cheater seems more appropriate don't you think? Grrrr do I have to throw it away, its very CUTE! LOL x

Not sure what TOSS means on your side of the pond, but over here if I 'tossed his stuff' I'd be doing him a huge sexual favour. I'll refrain thanks and just throw his junk in the bin (trash) jeez I'm going dizzy. Grrr but I'm still keeping the CHEATER...PMSL That's Pissing my self laffing in the good old U of K! lol x
