Subconcious Messages

This is something that just occured to me an hour or so ago. I was having a chat with mom and Jesse James (motorcycle guy) got brought up. Let me first say I am not a fan of his or Sandra Bullocks, never was. But when the scandal broke out about him cheating and them having an adoption in the works and all that, it REALLY affected me. I was so upset and couldn't get enough of the rag mags on the issues. I began to hate him and felt empathy for her.

During that time, my relationship with ExN was going fine. And I'd never experienced anything like that personally. So I was thinking, that perhaps, I was in the same type of relationship and just didn't know it. My subconcious was screaming at me to look at my own situation. But my logical mind couldn't put the pieces together.

It's just something that I thought of, because why else would I be so upset about famous folk drama, when I never am? I think it could be another example of our gut trying to speak to us when our heart doesn't want to listen.
