If it is true what I read that the soul joins the body in the baby when 3 months pregnant then it means that my ex only provided the physical genetics. My daughters soul is her own and he now has no link. It made me feel better. You see if what I am discovering about my ex is true....that he is manipulative, calculating and chooses to cause pain to others then I worry what my children have inherited.

Your child will NEVER turn out like him. Your love and understanding trumps all. Seriously. I know as with most things N has been seen as a mixture of genetics and upbringing - but any genetic tendencies can absolutely be modified by your love and caring. Human brains are "plastic" as they say in neuropsychology - young humans change and grow so much in the early years, you can actually CHANGE DNA they are finding out now -it's a new thing called EPIGENETICS. Fascinating actually. Not to go scientific on you -but it shows me how love and a good enough environment truly can conquer all. I truly don't believe these monsters are purely genetic monstrosities. And yes she has her very own little soul which will feed off of your love and understanding as she grows.

Hi, That is so reassuring, I didn't realise that I was having a panic about this until I read your answer, so yes I think the more I discover about my ex the more I panic about what my little one is made up of. I had to laugh at epigenetics cos I just read the other post about 'going to see her sister' and barbara mentions you can't teach pigs to sing. All I saw in that word was pig lol. Well I am going to put all the effort into making my children the best they can be. I will do that by letting them discover their own souls.
