Sometimes it just plain hurts

And it's okay to say it. And it's okay to feel it.

And you don't have to analyze it, deny it, excuse it, feel embarrassed or ashamed for the reasons behind it or apologize for it.

You just have to ride it out. Accept it. And then when you're ready, get up again and do something, anything.

Damn it hurts today. I'm going shopping.

I am heavily indulging in manicure these days!

As well as pedicure and massage and fab facials at a pink and girly spa up the road... I LOVE IT! And I feel taken care of and more attractive :)

You have to let it hurt--walk through it, in order for it to be part of your past. I am still learning this. I think crying has helped me heal a little; but some days I feel like I have a truck sitting on my chest, and it's all in knots, and I can't breathe. It is the scariest feeling. Mornings are really tough for me--for some reason I thought nights would be, as I spent most nights with my N. But my therapist said that during the day we build our defenses throughout the day and we coach ourselves to feel better. When we sleep at night..all of our defenses are down, and we wake up the most vulnerable.

Extreme Retail Therapy

I bought my first home 2 days ago! But its still not distracting me enough. Lol. .I refuse to give up though, I am determined to get my life back, and I truly pray for everyone on this site to get through this too. Love to you all xxxx

i am going christmas shopping at the dollar store today there are a few certain people that have touched my life in these few weeks in my healing process that i am so greatful for also, wish i could send each and everyone of you a stocking filled with goodies ! turning my hurt into love ((((hugs))))

As far as I am concerned we all here have the best Christmas present anyone could ever have, we all have each other and we are all building friendships, Narcs are out of our lives and we are helping each other heal! All my new friends and the help I get here is all I need. Enjoy your shopping! I LOVE THE DOLLAR STORES LOL
