Something positive that is really working for me......
Just wanted to share something that is really helping lift me out of the emptiness and depression I get sometimes.
I made a pledge to myself to look after me more and to focus on my well being. I have recently joined a gym and exercising is making a huge difference in how I feel about myself, and to my emotional resilience. Take this for an example, I went down the gym this morning, I could of easily turned over in bed and thought the hell with it, I was feeling low, I woke up thinking about him and I wanted to wallow in my feelings.... however, I reminded myself how good I feel after I have done a work out so I got up and went....and yes, all those feel good chemicals were released and I feel positive and good and HE doesn't matter. A few days ago having seen him at work I felt really low, all those horrible down feelings rushed back in however, I'm convinced that was I not leading a more healthy life style now, eating better now ( I'm juicing) which is perfect if you've lost your appetite because of how your feeling and doing some exercise I would feel down for longer, I bounce back from low days much quicker now. I'm not some sports freak, actually I'm quite lazy when it comes to exercise but it's really, really helping me,.... I've lost weight, I look better, people are commenting I look good and IT GOES WORK! Doing this for me is about getting my power back, I'm doing something good for ME and it's making me feel happy again.....by the time I'm ready to date again I should look amazing!! :-D
