Settling for Crumbs

when you deserve a meal. That is the theme I am finding in my life that led me to this place. I allowed everything else to take precedence over my wants and needs.

We women need to teach our daughters to value themselves first and THEN to look for a mate. Problem solved.

Hear! Hear! and Quote: We

Hear! Hear! and Quote: We need to teach our daughters to distinguish between a man who flatters her and a man who compliments her, A man who spends money on her and a man who invests in her, A man who views her as property and a man who views her properly, A man who lusts after her and a man who loves her, A man who believes he is God's gift to women and a man who remembers that woman was God's gift to man AND then teach our Sons how to be that man.

Thanks Kitty, This is Great!

I`m going to paste it somewhere where I see it often (can`t decide between refrigerator and mirror!). I have four sons, and they all WORSHIP women! And I have a foster-daughter and a daughter-in-law (and female grandchild), and my sons worship them too! And I`m trying to teach my foster-daughter and my daughter-in-law that it is their God-given right as women to be worshipped by males (my granddaughter, who is four, seems to know that already). I loved this. Thanx. Tigerlily

Same with my daughter, she is

Same with my daughter, she is smarter than me. I do see other people in a worse place than I was and it breaks my heart!

Amen to that sister! My

Amen to that sister! My daughter is on solid ground, and she says it is because of me, so that makes me feel that my suffering has paid off big time, if it can prepare her for her future and relationships. These experiences won't be in vain, if you take the right measures. Always look at the glass half full is my motto. I settled for mere morsels as well. Not no more.......I realized some time ago that my value is not fulfilled by being of value to someone else. My value starts with me. Period. Took a while to get there, but I am there! I settle for nothing less than I deserve, and if they don't like it, they own that problem, not me!
