Right Now

This is the time of day that he would call. Every work week day. He had an hour and a half to drive home and it was my "job" to keep him awake and occupied during that time.

I am taking a deep breath. I don't miss the phone call. I don't miss that I had to stop whatever I was doing to occupy his time. I don't even care who he's calling now. I'm just glad it's not me.

At this time of day now I am doing what I want to do. Sometimes I'm at the gym working out (something I wasn't allowed to do before, ha!). Sometimes I'm with friends or family enjoying company along with a few laughs (again something that was limited if allowed at all). Sometimes I write, or read, or clean, or do nothing at all.

Ahh...I am really enjoying right now!
