ok, you are all going to laugh and think I am nuts, but today I saw a psychic. Before I said anything, the woman told me that my STBXH was very selfish and emotionally abusive. He has worn me down over the last few years, and whatever I did was never enough. SHe said my life was all about him, and I didn't count.

I then told her that my husband and I are in a process of a divorce. She told me about the other woman. SHe said that she is as sick as he is, and is wicked. He has met his match but does not yet realize this. She is very self centered, self absorbed and only cares about her needs. She is very manipulative, and wants to have him running around her catering to her needs. She plays very sweet and innocent, but is far from that. SHe uses sex and drugs, pot, to keep him connected. SHe predicted that they will get married, but soon after the whole thing will just fall apart. He will see what he is really involved with and will want out.

The psychic also brought up my MIL as an enabler of the demise of the marriage. She said she had always had it in for me, and encouraged her son to leave.

In terms of me and the kids, she said we are going to be more than ok. I needed to let go of the obstacles in my life, the main one being my STBXNH, and start putting my energies into the positives and the future. I need to forget this man. I need never talk negatively about him to the kids, and I needed to live as positively as I can for my children. She said that the kids were going to be fine, and they really won't remember that much. They will never hold this move against me, and they will understand. She said the father will try to turn them against me, and that is why it is very important that I stay on the higher ground.

In terms of STBXNH, his life doesn't look so rosey in the long run. He will be a three time looser at marriage. This relationship will end, and at that point he will have lost everything. SHe also said that she sees another stint at rehab being part of his future, since drugs have become a part of his life and it will escalate.

Now, I don't know if any of this is true, but I did find it interesting. I just know that I have to make a happy laugh for me and my kids.
