The Narc in All of Us

Okay, so we definitely are learning the the red flags of a narcissist.

Maybe it would be fun if we turn the tables and look at ourselves.

To think we are flawless and are the perfect partner would certainly put us at a high level.

What narcissistic trait do you see you have a healthy helping of?

or,

What;s the most narcissistic thing you have ever done to someone?

Don't worry we're not talking NPD here.

Mine would be that I worry way too much about what I look like and then complain about how superficial men are.

the narc in all of us

the most narc thing ive ever done to someone? i dont know, ide have to think about that. I suppose i did alot of that behavior when i used to be on meth years ago. That lifestyle is not exactly giving. But just the other day i felt like a N....i just finished seeing a counselor, and got into the car with my mom. She said "how did it go?" I said "Oh it was great! I love talking about myself." We laughed cause i know how it sounds. Its true, i love talking, and sometimes dont like listening as much as i would like to. Im working on it though. Its kind of embaressing how selfish i can be sometimes,if i dont make a concious effort not to.

My inner Narc

Sadly, I went back to a former boyfriend after I was dumped worked to get him back, just to dump him after. Not proud of it, I felt awful afterwards, so I clearly dont have NPD :-) Peace! Coffee

interesting thread, for me I was too controlling, nothing to the extent the narc was, but still controlling, guess what he wiped me out of that real fast, when i saw what a miserable creature he was and those around him, he enlightened me!I realized you are controlling because in reality, your life and you inside, are out of control...
