My narc?

Hi all....I am noticing from a lot of postings, that people say..."my exn". Or " my narc".... I know that people are trying to explain their problem or whatever, but they are still saying " my".... They were never "ours", but even more than that, don't identify yourself with them! How about a new term..." The exn in my life, or the narc who used to be in my life... You understand where I'm going with this?
