Four months into our long distance relationship he sent me a hand written letter about a sex romp with his wife. It was a major red flag, of course...but I just considered it weird and VERY off-putting.
Fast forward a month. Now we are emotionally closer and talking on the phone frequently. I ask him if he ever cheated on his first wife, over 20 years ago. He literally gasped. I mean he told me he nearly dropped the phone. Following this, was a third trimester pregnant pause. He told me he was shocked by my intrusiveness!!!
I was completely confused. I reminded him of the hand written gross-out letter with details of his sex life and told him, his reactions were completely incongruous, inconsistent. He sounded a bit confused and said, "Do you think maybe I have 2 personalities; one for the written word and my other day to day personality?
