"MOTHBALLS!!"

I was just remembering the first time he told me he loved me. He was reclining on some pillows on my bed. I was laying on my stomach next to him with my head on his chest and my arm draped over him. We'd been talking and I was very relaxed.

Then he did it. He said, "I love you." I looked up at him and smiled. I remember being fully present in the moment. I took a breath to express my feelings back to him. I wanted say," I love you."

BUT suddenly he became extremely agitated. He threw his head back on the pillow and put his hands over his face. He started to yell really loud," MOTHBALLS! OMG! MOTHBALLS!!I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! MOTHBALLS!!"

I wasn't sure if he was joking...I was confused. A moment ago we were having an intimate moment...now he's panicking! I said," WHAT are you talking about ??! What's MOTHBALLS?"

He yelled, "Friends..that episode of friends!! I said,"WHAT?!" He said when Chandler told that girl he loved her and she didn't say it back...he said it was like MOTHBALLS!!"

I said,"Well I can't say it now...you've RUINED IT! You'll say I just said it because you got upset."
I was pissed off, I got up and left the room.
