A Letter to The New Girlfriend of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

I am not sure why I feel so responsible to protect the OW. But the thought of him beating and possibly killing the next Girlfriend has haunted me. I know that, at the very least, the next OW will be abused. My particular EX is a violent man with a history of his actions in police reports and court documents a mile long.

I know I could not write to the new OW. I know I can't really warn her outright. But I made it possible, should she ever try to look me up and learn more about him...when his mask slips...for her to have some of the truth, providing she goes looking for it HERSELF. I am assuming she has already done this a little as she did try to add me on FB by creating a fake profile and sending me an invitation. (I blocked her), don't worry.

I have felt like I couldn't really let go, no matter how much I tried...not completely...until I wrote this letter. She may never see it, but it was very cathartic for me to write, and helped with that feeling to protect others to come. I wrote it after reading similar letter on another blog to someone else's EX's New Girlfriend. I thought it might be cathartic just a little bit too, for some of you here who wish you could tell the next OW what she is in for. I hope it is okay to post the link here...it is what I wrote, (and used a false pen name or 'nom de plume') but it IS me who wrote it, so I definitely give persmission if anyone wants to read it and hope it helps someone feel better too.
