ignored don't know why

well today was his birthday I felt cruel ignoring it which is stupid after what he did to me so I text wishing him happy birthday and told him had gift here and when was he wanting to come and get it he's ignored me yet again thought he would have wanted his present I'm obviously going straight back to NC but surprised he didn't want his gift he's taken from me for 5 years even when we fell out so why ignore me now ?
