I helped my son expose his N GF

Just read Deidres post about what would God do with a Narc? God is SO good. I wanted to share what happened this weekend with my son. My son (I w call him Tim)is 30 yo. Tim has been in 3 serious r/s over the past 6 years. I could talk with him about the issues that come up w/these women, but he would not really take any advise.

Previously he was engaged and then broke it off 2 weeks b/4 t wedding. The girl was very immature. Then he entered into an r/s with a woman who was paranoid and I believe to be BPD. Now he is dating a woman who had so many N traits that I had to show him Lisa's site.

So last night we were online till 2 am watching Sam videos & reading. When I came to this site & read Lisa's intro on the Home Page, his eyes lit up. After every sentence Tim would say Thats her! You're describing our r/s. Mom, she did every one of those things!

We went on to discuss being an empath and the importance of establishing boundaries. I also shared the red flags with him. Then he asked me about NC & how I went about it.
Tim commented that I hardly ever mention my XN anymore. I hadn't realized this so I know now that XN is fading away.

Tim was beating himself up trying to discern where he had failed yet another r/s. As with me, I know that God allowed this monster to come into his life so that Tim could finally shine his light inward.

I am so peaceful today. This will be a new beginning for him. I was so glad to ave this site to share with him. Thank y'all so much
