How can everyone else be so blind?

I am healing from a N marriage of 6 years. He asked for a divorce unexpectedly and in the weeks following I put the "puzzle" pieces together. How is it his family, kids and ex-wife (whom he was married to for 18 years and is still a supply) be so blind? It makes me rethink my beliefs!! Are they really that clueless?
