Hoovering Question

I went through the forums, and the blogs trying to find more information on hoovering. I just wanted to know when it will stop. My ex has been emailing me at work for the past 3 days. I haven't responded to any of them. I just want to know what the phases are.. so far he seemed worried because he couldn't get a hold of me. .Then he starts to bribe me with gifts to get a response.. now he is reminiscing about past events in our relationship. Again I haven't responded to him at all.. I'm assuming that he'll email again but will be pretty upset because i haven't replied back.. but will this ever stop? I've blocked all his emails that I know he has but he sends from different email accounts.. its ongoing.. when will he get the hint? and when will it stop.

I can't change my work email but I'm taking the steps to prevent him from messaging.
