Is this hoovering?

After nc from me for 10weeks and being on the most wonderful, laughter filled holiday for 2 weeks with a great friend, I come home to 2 texts, a week apart - asking to see my 9 yr old son as he is in town.

The last text from him was a month before. He doesn't know what I have told my son, but he doesn't want me taking my anger towards him out on my son (as if...) !,

He had a new gf when he and I slept together at Christmas and he is truly sorry that he did not tell me sooner as he did not want to hurt me -translated into narc, he did not want to tell me as he thought I would cut off his supply from my son.

Deleted emails, can't block as work email. Been home for 5 days now and wobbling a bit today. Is this a Hoover and what is his intent? I won't contact him, no way, I have come so far and have never felt less stressed in 7 yrs.

The holiday was the best thing I have ever done, every holiday with him in the last 7 yrs was horrible - I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone as they had my attention not him, we went places he wanted to go and I followed suit to keep the peace which it never did. I used to dread when he mentioned holidays because I knew what was around the corner.
