HELP needed after late night text!!

Really need some help here. Been NC for a few weeks now and starting to feel a bit normal again, but he sent me a text at 11.30pm on Friday night which read 'Hey... are you OK?'. I didn't reply but have spent the whole weekend wanting to reply and have had to keep my mobile well away from me!!! Why send that now???
