Hello

Hi Guys,

I just responded to beamoflight and I came up with great idea!

I suggested just saying hello,to people..like at the store, Starbucks, car wash.. Wherever,I'm been doing this for myself to keep me up beat, in return a usually make another upbeat by my smile and a friendly hello!

Try it and get back to me! It really feels refreshing!

Hi Guys, This past weekend, I took Happy on my Hello tour, usually on Saturdays I run errands. So Happy came along, We had such a nice afternoon. Stopping and chatting with the vendors I do business with was just a fun filled Afternoon! I strongly recommend it Idealk

Yay! I do this everywhere I go! I LOVE that you suggessted this!!!!!!!! I always try to do this everywhere I can. YAY!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY YOU SUGGESTED THIS!!!!! It really makes me feel so good to say "hi!" in the morning. Another thing I do is I say "pardon me" instead of excuse me. Always gets a smile! Nice post topic!!!!!!!!!!!!

but knowing my lucky I would run into some stalker or killer and he would follow me to my car and hold me at gun point and that would be all she wrote. Ya JUST MY LUCK. He would take my hello as a flirtation or something and go after me. I will play it safe and just say hello to the elderly, they are still relatively safe as far as I know. ha ha

No no I was talking about that also..i have picked up girlfiends that was very "narcissistic" ..even the little old ladies became controlling amd a bit dominant..but ive always been pleasant to everyone..i wasnt just talking about flirting..i never mentioned that..i said I attract a lot of narcs which is correct..young old..boy..girl..

Missing the Point

Im speaking of the old lady at the grocery store, There is a difference between flirting and just being pleasant. Im telling you when a strike up a conversation, people engage and I think its a shining moment. Idealk

yes. It's not about being friendly to men in order to try and "meet" a new guy. It's about being aware and in the moment when ur out and about.....seeing the little old lady or man, or woman with her kids etc and just being aware and friendly. It's like spreading happiness I guess. corny, maybe, I dunno lol. It's just nice to be nice. And nice to focus on other things when you're out instead of being wrapped up in your head all the time. For me anyways:)

I like this post! I try and be friendly, and smile to strangers, and it IS therapeutic. Another thing to add onto this is, next time u are at the drive thru getting a coffee, pay for the persons coffee behind you in line. I have done this and have had people pay for mine. It's just nice!

I think this is a great idea! This is something that's kind of hard for me, actually. I tend to live in my head a lot. That means when I'm out and about, I don't notice all the people around me. I wonder who I could be missing? For those of us who want a find healthy relationship eventually, I think this is a great way to start. It's my plan, anyway. I have to remember to do it, but I try to get out of my head and connect with the people around me, even if it's just a smile. I hope it will make me more approachable. I hope if I come across as open and friendly and genuine that that's what I will attract.
