Heard through the grapevine....

That he's taking the break up hard! Uhm.....really? He doesn't like the bed he made? really!! huh... go figure. I know it's all just an act for him with this other person... he knows this person is friends with several people on my family side. So I'm pretty sure this is just being drawn out by him to A) gain the sympathy of this friend and B) to get word back to me without actually contacting me.

Would this be the normal route they take? I have a hard time imagining anything out of him that over dramatized "feel sorry for me" kind of whinning.
