I just remembered that when I first met my exN he declared that he was a N!

he was quite smug about it too, and said, " I'm a narcissist , oh but I am ... my ex told me so..."

He was intelligent, so do you think it's possible?

Do you think that they're actually aware that they're Narcs? Or was he just trying to be funny? I did not know what narcissism meant back then, just thought he was quite full of himself and trying to make a stupid joke.
