Is he jealous/pissed?

So lastnight I went out to celebrate passing my first semester in my Bachelor's program for nursing. I was with my best friend and her bf. My best friend and I have been friends going on 5 years. We met in school for our AS degree. She, unfortunately is my Narc's mother. I met him after we became friends. I was in a relationship and so was he at that time but we, I, fell in love after they ended sometime later down the road. Anyways, knowing he is in California, we went to a bar where he usually goes, in fact it's the place we all have hung out at. I seen a friend of ours and she gave me a little TLC towards the xN. My best friend put a status on her fb that said: "Celebrating the half way point of our bachelors with an amazing girl and my awesome bf at T's. Sooo happy!" Well low and behold the N commented this, "oh yah well I am so happy that I am not coming back home to Florida. I canceled my ticket home, found a way to make money..blah, blah." WTF is that? My heart dropped. He can't be moving to California! He has a son here! I got the vibe he was either pissed we were out or jealous. I don't know. I just know my stomach is at the tip of my toes. Why do they jump so high, so quickly?!
