He deleted me - I need Help

I had a friend tell me today that he deleted me off his fb which is fine, I was going to delete him anyway. But it HURTS so bad and I dont know why. I just feel like crawling in a corner and dieing. Since we have gone NC I suppose this is one of the only ways left to hurt me. But it really reallt does. Anyone got some advise to this please.
