Hatred.

This is a poem i found in a book i got at the library today.

Hatred

I shall hate you
Like a dart of singing steel
Shot through still air
At even-tide.
Or solemnly
As pines are sober
When they stand etched
Against the sky.
Hating you shall be a game
Played with cool hands
And slim fingers.
Your heart will yearn
For the lonely splendor
Of the pine tree;
While rekindled fires
In my eyes
Shall wound you like swift arrows.
Memory will lay its hands
Upon your breast
And you will understand
My hatred.

Wow...

That's really charged. Definitely from a woman's aching heart. And definitely a classic example of how we try and deal, by imagining him hurting and regretful. I wrote a poem too. About how mad I felt, how hurt and betrayed. Then I wanted to remove it because I felt so vulnerable with it up but I couldn't so I had to leave it. Now I don't mind. I think that might be a healing sign. I love how passionate we all are, how raw and real we get here without worrying that anyone is setting us up or gathering ammo lol Thank you for the beautiful poem =)
