Has anyone battled the codependency?

Hi again guys! Has anyone successfully battled the codependency? I'm about to start a very scary journey I think n it's leaving me sick to the stomach of changing the way I am! I know this is going to be the making of me as I'm so fed up of being a door mat. I run a team at work yet I have trouble setting boundaries! My work has improved my codependency but I still struggle with confrontation and avoid it at all costs! I know I have to do the work but I was jus wondering if anyone else is feeling the same? I look at Lisa and goldie and there so strong and confident and I hope I'm like them once I'm back on my feet and face my fears. X
