Funny dream!

The last time I reported on a dream I had of the ex it involved him lunging at me after he closed and locked a door after company left. Scary.

I had another dream a couple of nights ago and this one was almost funny. Thought I'd share it for a little comic relief, everyone, as well as to encourage those in a funk today, especially newcomers, that good advice and healing eventually take root and produce good results. The dream goes like this:

Now, it wasn't about him, but some random guy was showing interest in me and wanting me to go somewhere with him. I walked with him for a little while, but all the time, my subconscious (or perhaps my subconscious' subconscious??) was running a constant analysis that went something like this:

"Okay, Abigail, why are you taking the hand of a total stranger, here? Yes, he looks good, but this is certainly a red flag..."Now, are you SURE it's wise to follow him and let him lead you like this?" "Are you sure you are just letting your emotions take over and shutting down your critical thinking?" "You've got that old feeling of infatuation starting up, here, that's not good...way too fast" The dream was short. That's about all I had time for.

I liked it so far, however. Can't wait to see if it comes back again, longer version, and I get to play the part of a flaming b....

Yes, time does make us wiser...

And a sense of humor helps, too.
