Fell of the wagon AGAIN! Help :(

I was doing soo well I saw him and his new girl together , weirdly no emotion came up, it was at a restaurant! I still had a good time that day.. Everything was good, intact I started seeing someone else! Than ... He contacts me and says he misses me!!!and him and his gf broke up. I carry on bieng nice to him and than he shuts me out. Completely. He questioned why I still bother speaking to him , than I replied saying ill always care.. To which I got a me too, bye. Tht was it, what does anyone make out of this?
