Feeling a bit sad

This is my first post as I'm new to this forum. I like that everyone can come here and say what's on their mind and have no judgement. Only support from other beautiful men and women who have lived through this nightmare.
I'm up to day 46 of no contact. My ex N coldly and cruelly discarded me after promising me the world and taking everything from me physically, financially and emotionally. He told me by text that I had changed, I was crazy, he has moved and its best we never see each other again. After 41/2 years. I felt paralysed. Like my world collapsed around me. My friends have been my strength. I could not survive without them. And now I have found this site I feel so much better. I have been madly reading everyone's stories and I am amazed how similar they all are.
A friend told me last night that she bumped into my exN at her local supermarket. She stared at him, and when he looked at her she called him a f'n loser. He quickly walked away. Not a word from him. Just took off. What a coward. Well, now I know he lives not far from me. I shouldn't care, because I have no intention of taking him back, but just talking about him last night has really depressed me and now I have that sinking feeling again. He has gone back to his ex to play happy families and I am sitting here alone. Oh well, I will be fine. I'm just going to read my goodbye letter again. That will fix me up.
