Facing Fear

I am the guest speaker at an AA meeting tonight. I have been sober for 9 years and feel brand spanking new...RAW!! I am speaking in front of 100 people and I am scared to death...BUT...I am so proud of myself for not crawling up into a ball...I know from all that I have walked through in sobriety that facing our fears is the most solid evidence we have to file away to make us stronger!! The now 72 hours NC is amazing! I shut down Facebook, snail mailed him some documents...and I haven't spun anywhere near the degree of 3 days ago!! This shit works, ladies! Wish me luck...I'm goin' in!! YAY ME!!
