Messing with me. I will turn off my phone now at night. Time to stop interacting with him. We broke up nothing left to discuss.
Screw him! and his basically suggesting he can go eff somone else - go ahead and do it, and then cheat on her too. Bad apples, bad eggs, bad men...they all go out in the trash!so done with his BS today!

Although you responded, I'm soo glad that you were able to turn off your phone and as much as it may suck, even more proud that you know you need to stop interacting with him. The less you talk to/text/ and hear from him, the easier it will become! Believe me! I broke NC and it sucks... it's so much easier to ignore, ignore, ignore :) STAY STRONG!!!

Is there a way you can block his number? Or change your number? I remember with one of my ex-s it started this way and just escalated. You may also want to note that he threatened you... and save these texts in case you at some point need to share with local authorities!!

Wow, does he want an oscar for most dramatic actor! Tell him to face up to the fact he f#@% up. Deal with the guilt and shame without getting you involved. What does he hope to achieve....that you will somehow think that his actions are your fault. He is basically transfering his poor behaviour to you and making excuses for it. I wish my ex would even admit that he cheated, he still denies it. He says he never cheated on me...I don't believe him. He also said he had no feelings for his ex but was emailing her otherwise. God these guys are absolute freaks, they belong in the circus. I love the way you have reacted....he will feel like the biggest idiot when he sobers up.

You handle yourself so well! Go Badabing These assholes are crazy. I wonder what he would say if you told him you had to get even and have sex with another man. Then you could forget it and move on. Anyone ever done this? I was never strong enough before NC to say something like that. Wish I had of been.

It works, actually

I wished the ex-Psych prof a happy life with his girlfriend. He had a conniption fit. Ns/Ps can't face competition of ANY sort. I permanently scared him away from Augustine's "Confessions" because I "got even" (and it wasn't even done maliciously) and wrote my senior thesis on it. To give some necessary backstory, the ex-P did his master's thesis on Augustine's "Confessions" and his first lecture (my freshman year) was on Augustine's "Confessions." He was on my senior oral examination committee... and it made him fidgety&visibly uncomfortable. My friends thought he was rude... I agree... but if I had paid ANY attention to his rudeness, it would've sent my thesis defense crashing down. I practiced non-reaction. His rudeness was supposed to make me uncomfortable... but I acted as if he didn't exist. He used to consider himself a philosopher of religion. Well, since I write on religion.... he gave up on that. What a coward. Does he know I'm laughing at him? Once he showed his hand, I started playing him. I haven't ruined "War and Peace" for him.... yet.
