Disgusted

Well, I'm disgusted with not only him but myself.
I have been a month NC. I had heard that the xN started seeing someone new (this is not surprising seeing as 7 weeks after the D&D he was hanging out with the ex just before me and then while he was hoovering me in Aug., Sept. and again in Nov. he was on dating sites).

Let's just say curiosity killed the cat. I had heard she had been "liking" just about every status on his band's page. I went to go check her out this morning. I couldn't find her. Out of curiosity, I signed in with my alternate Facebook account. Sure enough, there she was.

So, the xN has told her to block me, undoubtedly because he a) is telling her I'm a psycho and b) doesn't want me to know about her/telling her the truth.

As my mother put it, his unmitigated egotism is disgusting. I gave him so much power, he thinks I will pine away for him forever.

It also occurred to me that I am going through what the ex before me went through. I can clearly remember his story about her sounding strange and fishy. They had had recent contact all along and I remember not wanting to be the OW. When I pressed and asked questions, he did not give further detail and only got irritated and defensive. But his words to me were, "We aren't even friends on Facebook. I don't want her knowing anything that goes on in my life." He didn't tell me to block her, but he did tell me her name. He must have told his new gf my name so she could block me. So he's trashing me. It's unreal, but I'm not surprised.

I cannot wait to be at a point of complete indifference.
