did anyone watch oprah

they had a special on sexual addicts, interviewed couples that the husband had this addiction and worked it out, are we dealing with sex addicts or narcs and psychopaths, I sometimes wonder if mine was JUST a sex addict, or that combined with other serious disorders? Since most narc cheat, wondered if they are all sex addicts?

There was a law suit in San Francisco where a woman, who was injured in a cable car accident, sued the city because she became a sex addict from the head injury. She won the case so there must be some physical problem involved with that addiction and that area was not mentioned on the Oprah show. Sex addicts are compulsive, impetuous, and take huge health risks having constant sex with strangers, going to sex clubs, having unprotected sex, and they cannot stop. It ruins their lives. In dealing with personality disorders they don't have normal interpersonal relationships and that would include their sexual lives.

A sex addict wouldn't always have other women right? In a lot of cases they are addicted to masturbation and porn. Similar to a sex narc. Is that correct?

In SOME cases its just porn & masturbation. SOME. IN MANY there's side women, prostitutes and casual sex that even you would never find out about. porn addiction is progressive - it eventually works its way up to REAL LIFE encounters. Yes, Ive been tested. Mine use to say, Im a sex addict I can help it. I love porn, I love to masturbate, and he is the LAZIEST person, Ive ever met. Also he hated leaving his home, he had anxiety about being in public situations. Such a creep. He had an accident years ago and now has front lobe damage as well. He is going to be such a LONELY old man!!!!! jerk.

one of the couples they interviewed the man said he would feel sooo guilty after being with someone he would go home to his wife and make love trying to make up for the guilt, psychopaths DONT DO THAT, NO GUILT THATS THE DIFFERENCE

they can even crap on you for a lifetime. when I was trying to deal with exNH's complete lack of sexual desire my late therapist asked me if I ever said no to him for sex. I wasn't sure. Then she told me "Intellectual Narcissists can shut down sexually COMPLETELY and shut you down FOREVER just for saying no to them ONE TIME... maybe even when you weren't feeling well!" In short - their way or the highway. Even if you're married. And they feel NO GUILT, NO REMORSE and REFUSE to ever admit THEY are the problem! When I saw the seriously passive-aggressive way he dealt with my having an emotional affair. And how he acted at the marriage counselor... I lost all feeling for him. I feel nothing other than ANNOYANCE now. Which is wierd for me because I have tons of empathy. People ask me all the time if I still love him? The answer is NO.
