Do any of you watch Dexter? Its about Psychopaths and disturbed people that dexter takes personal revenge on and kills, not saying alot for Dexter but ..... So anyway Dexter was following a sick killer and he was shocked to find this killer pulled into the driveway of a beautiful home and there to greet him was his loving wife, and children. THe killer named Trinity (cause he killed in threes) was active in church, was a teacher to children, was a volunteer to help others. Even though its just a tv show dont dismiss the fact there are people out there that do this, mine does this everyday of his life, comes home to his adoring OW, lives a normal life, but yet he is a sexual predator very sick and very disturbed. I was thinking MY GOD I am watching on TV what mine was, mine just wasnt a killer in that sense but he kills others as a sexual predator. THe killer adored his wife and family and appeared to be the father and husband of the year, the family completely unaware of how sick he was. We read in the papers all the time about how people are shocked when they discover the truth. We as the victims know the truth we see their sick side

Right just look at Dennis Rader

Dennis Rader was the BTK killer....he was very middle class, total family man and very involved in church and community. He was a dog catcher and stalked some of his victims via that job. He killed for over 25 years right in his own back yard. If you ever want to see a true remorseless psycho just look up some of the trial footage.....chilling. He is very matter of fact about the way he Beat, Tortured and Killed people....just like he is talking about the weather.

They blend in so well

Isnt that something, they just blend into society, like Gacey who posed as a clown and killed children, but we are talking about your killers, I call mine an outmate, vs inmate in a prison, the smart ones just dont get caught in their social crimes to society. Which is worse someone in jail caught for stealing a car and never hurting anyone personally or mine who did what he did and is allowed to run the streets and play cop to the community?

I hear ya

I know, the public is very misinformed. BUt Barbara when we ask you how can they live different lives, killers or not killers this is how they do it because they are sick and pathological and it comes natural to them, they can fool their wives and gf for years if they want to keep them around, ya ours didnt kill others they just hid their perversion. I look at mine as a man who just wants to appear normal and is a sexual predator and addict and Psycho-Boy's wife and My freaks so called wife are simply there to complete the props they put up, they go in public as couples, this way they fit into the community and they fiercely hang on to that image and if that means faking their love and committment to them they can do it easily, they both serve well to hide who they really are, that is ALL they mean to them, nothing more. It would come as no shock to me if he stayed with her until the very end, I mean why not, why get rid of a good thing that will serve what you need for your life, while you are a predator on the side. Barbara wonder what their relationship will be like when they are old?

this is what is impossible for us normals to understand... how they do it? We must get our heads around the fact we can NOT figure them out because we are normal and they are SO ABNORMAL! Like an apple trying to become an eggplant. Ain't gonna happen. Pathologicals live very compartmentalized lives. Normals don't... Normals have a "through-line" to their life. Pathos put their "objects" into little boxes. And keep one box far away from another. How they do it? I don't think I want to know. The profound brain abnormalities must account for some of it.

compartmentalized lives

I always wondered what that meant they compartmentalize everything, a box for this, a box for that, they separate the objects in their lives. They can do it because it is apart of their disorder, they view the world different than normal people and like you said Barbara because we ARE NORMAL we are unable to understand what they do and that is GOOD. That is why we ask so many questions because we are normal and could NEVER understand some of their behavior, we just shake it off and say, sick because that is exactly what it is
