Dexter

Have any of you seen Dexter? It's scary how this man acts and not only does he look like my N but his actions are very freaky like my N. He doesn't know how to feel or have empathy and has to learn over the years to make the appearance he does. I would recommend renting the 3 seasons I think they are? Maybe our N's should be called Dexter.

Same here

I watched one show thinking it would be a fascinating study on human behavior (his, that is) and I could barely stomach another. It was too disturbing to me as well. Hit a nerve, that's for sure.

Watching Dexter

A friend recommended I watch the series after hearing about the Disordered One. I've been very fortunate that most all of my friends and family have been supportive and believed what I told them about his "condition." Considering how he handled breaking our engagement, they think he is a total ASS. Only one person I know said " He probably just fell out of love with you." Guess what? That person is the biggest Narc I know. I'll see if I can watch Dexter...think I saw the very first show, long before I met my ex-freak.

Dexter...

I Love this show!! Dexter does not harm his family or loved ones (not that hurting anyone is okay by any means). He is a serial killer to other serial killers that have escaped the justice system and are getting away to kill other innocent people. I would say watch it if you can from the first season. When you see what happened to him as a child it makes a lot of sense on how he turned into a psychopathic killer to other serial killers. (not that I'm an expert) =) xxA

I love this show too!

Of course he does exhibit many of the mirroring traits of an N, but what differentiates Dexter is indeed his ability to sort out those who deserve "punishment" and those who deserve kindness... But...of course it is just a show...
