Delusional

So I'm taking the night off of work. Screw it. I'm tired and worn out and I need a bit of me time.

I get to this post by someone about Ns
"The major weakness in the Narcissist is the emotional inteligence. they have none. When we see someone angry, in order to make sense of it we have to use emotional inteligence. We have to empathise. Narcissists cant do it. The rage would seem like a meaningless babble. There is nothing there for them to understand."

I read that and laughed a good hard laugh. My ex N used to say shit like "Yeah my ex wife was smart but horrible with people, I have EI whereas she didn't."

Delusional!

Out of touch with their OWN anger

During the final D&D, I'd calmly ask the ex-Psych prof (I had babysat&volunteered at a local school) WHY he was angry. I'd serenely say "Why are YOU so angry?" He wouldn't ever explain why. I was trying to put myself in HIS shoes. He'd go silent. His response would be "I'm not angry, I'm disappointed"-but I'd point out that his ACTIONS were angry. Another time he responded "I'm not angry, I'm offended"-I'd point out that being angry&being offended ARE THE SAME THING *pulls out thesaurus* How could he understand MY anger when he couldn't understand his own??? Thank GOD my 2 year old nephew is easier to understand! If he's angry, it's because he wants to go outside, or he wants cheese crackers. He doesn't make impossible demands.
