Today is xmas eve. Control! Do not cave on. Dont call, text, stalk, email the narc.

No need to say merry xmas to them, what purpose does that serves? If they reply, does that mean they love u? Want u? Is remorseful? NO. If they ignore u, its worse! We all know that.

If they call/text/email "merry xmas". Do not reply. It is not a big effort and it doesnt mean anything deeper. Dont try to imagine they miss u, want u, changed for u. A mere "merry xmas" message is just a "merry xmas" message nothing more nothing less. No need to respond, it could well be a bulk message he sends to all. No big deal. When u receive a merry xmas email from your favourite supermarket, do u reply? No. Same for the narc.

We stay strong today. Plan something to make yourself happy. Even if u are alone u can order/cook something nice, open a bottle of wine, watch some comedy. Enjoy.

We will pass this xmas with dignity. No need to take the crumbs from the narc.
