I just had an interesting thought and was wondering if any of your N did this as well. In the 7 years that we were together he went through 9 vehicles. He only wrecked one of these and really shouldn't have gone through that many but he always needed something better or different. He caused alot of debt because of this and would always throw tantrums when he didn't get his way. How many cars did yours go though while you were together?

Yep, had car after car after car always HP and always trying to be better. Looks like they're successful in their eyes if they have a good car to be envied ......lets not mention the debt though.

hmmmm

Mine didn't go through a ton of cars, but he was OBSESSED with Jeeps... he made it very clear that this was non-negotiable... I think Ns in general are very materialistic.

Yes, it's all about exterior image to them so many are into having a flashy car. You've heard the saying that men with a big or expensive car are over overcompensating for a small penis, right? Well, same applies here. They're overcompensating for their lack of self. They're all about external validation based on image. If they don't get validated in this way, they feel dead inside. Any opportunity they have to get attention, they will capitalize on it.
