Can anyone decipher this please

It's been two months so far. Today I have a text

'I see you are out tomorrow night for your daughter's birthday, it just highlights the way we are. You were always invited to all my family events'.

Obviously seen daughter's posts on fb and he always hated me going anywhere.

Throwing it out to see if anyone can help me understand this. It seems like a riddle to me.
