BPD traits?

I have been worrying lately that I have BPD traits (I have a sister and another family member with BPD). In particular I have always been terrified of being alone, and abandoned. It gets worse when my partner is away on business, which he is at the moment. I think I know where this stems from (my mother died when I was a kid and my father was emotionally unavailable, a narc) but this fear continues to cause me a great deal of anxiety and pain as an adult. It really holds me back. I need to know I can cope alone, not just cope but actually enjoy being alone. I continue to work on this but it just makes me feel so sad. On the plus side it's 8 months NC now with the narc. Need some support today please and cheering up.
