I won't ask him. I just thought that he could let me use his truck because he said he would when he bought it. But you are right. I need to not talk to him. The kids told him that we are moving so he called me. He asked me what was going on. Did I find a place? I said yes and he said "well, we will talk about it later". Whatever that means. That lady that was going to rent my house has flaked out on me. I haven't been able to get a hold of her for two days. I am starting to get worried. My cousin said she would help me with her van. And this weekend her husband will let me use his truck. It is a small truck but it is better than nothing. I don't have any money to rent a u haul. I barely have enough to buy a few grocery's. I am going to find out all the food give away places tomorrow. Today after work I took the kids to the apartment and we cleaned some more and they swam for an hour and a half. They love it. I met the old man next door he is nice. He said his grandkids visit sometimes and they can play with mine. Well I have to go. thanks everyone. I so appreciate everybody. Especially the calls. I found an apartment. It isn't the one I thought I was going to get. But it is good. The owner is very nice. He isn't even charging me a deposit.!! My 5&6 year old love it because it has a pool. It is a very small complex. Only five apartments. Every one there has live there for a long time and are very friendly. I feel so much better now. I havn't really moved in yet. I am still trying to find someone to help me with a truck. I was thinking about asking my husband but I am afraid. He doesn't know about the apartment yet. The kids told him yesterday that we are going to live in a motel. But he just ignored them. Well I have to go. I have been working more lately.=) Gotta get ready. Thanks for everything.
I agree, please don't ask him for anything! You may be able to find someone to help you for a low fee. I know you can typically rent a U-Haul truck for $20 a day plus mileage. Maybe the landlord knows someone who can help you move the big items?? I know it's more expensive to hire a couple of guys thru a moving company.
